Justin Rogers named Elite 11 QB

New TCU commit Justin Rogers received one of the highest honors for a high school quarterback when he was selected to participate in the Elite 11 competition this past weekend in Los Angeles. 25 quarterbacks were selected to participate in the quarterback challenge that features pro-day style workouts, on-field drills and a 7-on-7 tournament. Rogers was impressive in the on-field workouts and especially stood out in 7-on-7 drills where he could show off his touch on deep balls and his command of the red zone. This morning, the final 11 players were selected and will participate in the 7-on-7 tournament at the end of the month in Oregon at The Opening finals.

Rogers will be joined in Oregon by fellow TCU commit Atanza Vongor. They will have their chance to help bolster the 2018 class when they compete with #CarterBoys18 targets Tommy Bush, Ja'Marr Chase, Brennan Eagles, Jalen Green, D'Shawn Jamison, Jalen Preston, and Terrace Marshall. Things could get very interesting for the 2018 TCU Football recruiting class in the next 30 days.
