Friday night was the final camp of the summer for TCU.

The more nearly 300 participants took part in individual drills like the 40-yard dash and shuttles, but more importantly they got to take part in one-on-one drills on the field at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

There were several stand outs and Geoff and I each picked three guys that really stood out to us.

There isn't much more that needs to be said about Bolden. The West Monroe athlete has TCU, Alabama and LSU in his top-three. He's looking to make a decision by the end of the month and this was his final visit of the month.

Bolden is just a fluid route runner that can be used in a wide variety of packages by an ingenious offensive-mind like Sonny Cumbie. He made every catch look easy and when he was contested, which wasn't often as he blew by defenders, he was physical enough to come down with the ball. This would be a massive haul for TCU if they brought in another Louisiana kid.

While not an official camper, Rogers was a "celebrity shooter" of sorts as he threw passes to certain campers, including Bolden. That was a subtle move showing this is the future of TCU football if Bolden commits.

The passes just looked different coming out of Rogers' hand. He is one of the best pure passers in the country and put passes exactly where they belonged. He will push Shawn Robinson for the starting job next season.

Another Louisiana receiver was a primary target for Rogers in this camp. Spivey is also high school teammates with Hidari Ceasar, who also attended the camp.

Spivey is just a physically dominating force. He's easily 6-6, 220 pounds from Richwood High School in Monroe, La. He will probably play tight end in TCU's offense and showed decent hands at the camp. He made a couple tough catches look easy, but he also towered over his defender. He will also camp at Oklahoma State and Houston before making a decision.

Stephens was the second largest receiver at the camp, only slightly smaller than Geor'Quarius Spivey. Stephens worked out exclusively at receiver at the camp, but some coaches would love Stephens on the defensive side because "He is an All-American defensive end in the making." I said when he committed to TCU that he will end up on the defensive line and his burst was shown when running routes. Stephens spent most of the night with the other three Louisiana boys (Rogers, Bolden and Spivey).

Hunt balled out at the camp tonight and the Kansas commit was impressive with his footwork, speed and his hands. Hunt ran a 4.45 40-yard dash showed off an impressive 35.5 inch vertical leap. He was easily the best or second best receiver on the field with Slade Bolden. He runs routes hard and gets in and out of cuts with ease. He was often matched up against the best defensive back on Friday night, Donavann Collins. Hunt's great night was capped off by receiving a scholarship offer from TCU. The Jayhawks recruiting class may getting one smaller.

Collins is the only 2019 member to make the list, but he didn't look like he was intimidated at all by the receivers he was being asked to cover. He was matched up against Hunt, Bolden and even the 6-foot-5 Stephens and held his own. He was at camp last week and impressed and wanted to come back tonight to show what he can do against better competition. Collins, like Hunt received an offer at the conclusion of the camp. Collins has the size and speed to play any position in the secondary in the 4-2-5 defense.

Can't wait to see what happens next for #CarterBoys18 and possibly #CarterBoys19 in the near future.
