TCU Football added another speedster from The Boot today with the commitment of Derius Davis from St. Francisville, LA.

Davis is a track star as well as a great football player. Davis won the 3A State Championship in Louisiana in the 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash and 4x200 meter relay. Davis is also a teammate of fellow #CarterBoys18 commit Justin Rogers on the Louisiana Bootleggers 7vs7 flag football team. Davis plays a nickelback position in high school but told me he was being recruited to TCU as a receiver. When he gets his hands on the ball, he has Ka'Vontae Turpin-like abilities.
