Mountaineers first for Dixon

It's often said that April showers bring May flowers, but in the case of Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge linebacker Rayfield Dixon the changing of the months brought forth his first scholarship offer of the recruiting process from West Virginia.

Dixon received the word on Friday evening from his high school coaches right before he began practice and to say he was excited would be quite the understatement.

"I asked if they were kidding at first. I was just smiling and happy and giving my coaches high fives and hugs," he said. "I'm way up there, I can't even sit down."
