Foreman Ready to See Oklahoma

Since his arrival to Norman in January of 2010 Tony Jefferson's impact in Norman has been impossible to miss. Whether it's on the field or as a Sooner recruiter Jefferson has helped Oklahoma in more ways than one. But perhaps none has been bigger than his assistance, along with Brennan Clay and Kenny Stills, in making Oklahoma a recruiting presence in the state of California.

Now, with just two years of eligibility remaining, it seems that Oklahoma may be looking for his replacement and may be going back to Southern California to find their next safety, Tyler Foreman of Encino Crespi.

Last week it was another Sooner recruiter, defensive coordinator Mike Stoops, that made his way to Crespi to check out the 6-foot-2, 190-pound physical safety.

"That was my first contact with Oklahoma," Foreman admitted. "Coach Stoops called (Crespi head coach) (Jon) Mack and told him he would come the day before. He came and saw me work out and liked it.
