Not only does the upcoming weekend mark the last big weekend of official visits before National Signing Day, but Sunday will also serve as the first big junior day of the Urban Meyer era. Several of Ohio's top class of 2013 prospects are expected to attend as the Buckeyes host Michigan in Men's basketball. One of the big names on the list is Shaker Heights (Ohio) two-way lineman Donovan Munger. The 6-foot-3, 278-pound prospect will be coming down with teammate De'Niro Laster to get their first in-person meeting with Meyer and the new staff.

"I'm looking forward to it," said Munger. "I was talking to coach (Taver) Johnson but he went to Arkansas. I also talked to Urban Meyer. He just told me that he wanted me to visit and just come down there and see the campus. I'm looking forward to meeting him in person."

Munger has been one of the hottest prospects in the state of Ohio the last few weeks as he continues to rack up some big offers.

"Auburn, Minnesota, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Duke, Kent State, Toledo, and Bowling Green (have offered," Munger said. "Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, and Michigan State are also recruiting me."

For Munger, the recent spike in offers and interest from some of college football's top programs has been a humbling experience.

"It's very exciting," Munger said. "I'm actually surprised by all of the offers that I've been getting. It's a great thing, I'm proud."

Munger did a little bit of everything for Shaker Heights this season, playing offensive tackle, defensive end, and defensive tackle. Munger's versatility has only helped his recruiting stock as teams have told him he projects well on both sides of the ball.

"Most schools have just been asking me where I want to play," he said. "I don't really care though, I just tell them wherever they need me is fine, it doesn't really matter to me."

In addition to the upcoming trip to Ohio State, Munger is hoping to check out a few more schools for junior days.

"Bowling Green, Buffalo, and I also want to go to Michigan," he said. "Michigan is supposed to give some details about (their junior day schedule)."

Munger added that he currently does not have any favorite schools.

"Not really," he said. "I'm just looking at the schools that are recruiting me and trying to find out as much about them as I can."
