TCU's Jeremy Kerley has been named the Mountain West Conference Special
Teams Player of the Week following his performance in Saturday's 44-6 win
over Colorado State.

It's the second time in the last three games that Kerley has received the
honor.

Kerley's 69-yard punt return with 49 seconds left in the first half gave TCU
a 17-6 lead. It was his second punt return for a touchdown in the past three
contests. He went 71 yards for a score in a 39-14 win over SMU.

In addition to his touchdown, Kerley had two other returns that set up TCU
scores. He averaged 34.3 yards on his three attempts in the game.

A junior from Hutto, Texas, Kerley ranks fifth nationally in punt returns
with a 17.1 average. He's 19th in kickoff returns with a 27.3 mark. He's the
only player in the nation to place in the top five in punt returns and top
27 in kickoff returns.

Kerley added three receptions for 40 yards and had two carries for 16 yards
as he totaled 159 all-purpose yards.
