Top OL prospect talks about UT visit
The recruiting talent in the Lone Star State for the class of 2009 appears to be the deepest group that the state has put out in the last decade, and it's loaded up with blue-chip players at a few different positions. Everyone knows about the quarterbacks - as many as five are challenging for spots in the state top 10 at this early stage - but the talent may be just as deep along the offensive line.
Perhaps the best of the bunch is Mason Walters, a dominating offensive tackle prospect out of Wolfforth Frenship. Last weekend, Walters traveled to Austin to take in the Longhorns' win over Texas Tech, and he liked what he saw both on the field and in the community.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Watlers is already holding offers from Texas Tech, Baylor and Texas A&M, and is planning to graduate in December of 2008.
