2007 Men's Hoop Practice Report #3

In front of an audience consisting of ESPN's Andy Katz and former Seattle Sonics head coach Bob Weiss, the WSU men's basketball team took the practice like any other.

This time, Nikola Koprivica rejoined the squad after missing last practice. He returned with his knee brace on.

Much like Wednesday's practice, head coach Tony Bennett had the team work on transition defense. There was an obvious improvement from the last time they ran the drill. Players were hustling back and getting into position more quickly.

The drill was highlighted by two plays made by the freshman combination of Abe Lodwick and Stephen Sauls.

On defense, Sauls was able to deflect a pass. The ball was headed out of bounds, but Lodwick made a diving save back into the hands of Sauls.
