Tech felt like home to Claytor
Gainesville, Ga., offensive tackle Nick Claytor could have gone to college almost anywhere, but it was the relationships he developed during the recruiting process that led him to stay in-state and commit to Georgia Tech. Claytor, a four-star prospect and member of the Rivals100, talked to JacketsOnline.com about his decision.
Claytor officially made his pledge on Aug. 31 at the ESPN Zone in Atlanta where he made the announcement on ESPNU.
"It was great," Claytor said. "How many people get to be on ESPN to commit? I had a good time. It was pretty cool because the ESPN guys said I did a great job. I was pretty proud."
