Notebook: Tiger defense stuffs Cougars

AuburnSports.com Washington State quarterback Alex Brink entered Saturday night's game at Jordan-Hare Stadium as one of the nation's top returning signal callers. However, somebody forgot to tell the Auburn defense.
The Tigers swarmed Brink early and often, rattling him with five sacks on the night. The junior finished just 11-of-24 for 67 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
The Cougars managed a total of five yards on their first two possessions of the game including three sacks of Brink.
