A few weeks back I composed a list of the top ten plays from the Horned Frogs 2012 season. PurpleMenace members enjoyed it, so here is another list of the other top ten plays from the Frogs season that didn't make the original cut. These are in no particular order.

Brandon Carter 38 yard kickoff return vs. Kansas State: The Frogs were down 13-0 to Kansas State heading into half time. TCU needed some kind of spark before heading to the locker-room for the half and Brandon Carter provided it with this nice kick return where he shows off his leaping ability.

Sam Carter Intercepts Case McCoy @ Texas: With less than two minutes remaining and the Longhorns driving, Sam Carter intercepted Case McCoy's pass to seal the Horned Frogs huge win in Austin.

Devonte Fields Blows Up Garrett Gilbert @ SMU: TCU was up 14 points but SMU was looking to cut the lead to seven. On 2nd and goal Fields rushed in from the right side and unloaded on SMU quarterback Garrett Gilbert.

Casey Pachall to Brandon Carter @ Kansas: The Frogs were down 3-0 late in the first against Kansas and had looked lackadaisical until this point in the game. Casey Pachall hit Brandon Carter for the eight yard touchdown pass. This play made the list because it was an incredible throw by Pachall to fit the ball in such a small area. Great catch by Carter as well.

Sam Carter Intercepts Landry Jones vs. Oklahoma: The Frogs were down 7-0 to Oklahoma late in the first half when Sam Carter made a great read and intercepted Landry Jones' pass and returned it inside the Sooners ten yard line.

Dominic Merka Punt Fumble Return for Touchdown @ West Virginia: The Mountaineers were up ten and forced to punt. WVU punter Tyler Bitancurt fumbled the snap and the Frogs capitalized. Merka scooped and scored to pull the Frogs within seven.

Devonte Fields Intercepts Collin Klein vs. Kansas State: I can't find a highlight for this one, but it deserves to be on the list. One the fourth play of the game, Collin Klein dropped back to pass but Fields dropped back in coverage to read the pass and make a great interception, especially for a defensive lineman.

Brandon Carter one-handed 43 yard reception vs. Virginia: With the Frogs up 14-0 over Virginia and already having one sick one-handed catch in the game, Brandon Carter pulled this one hander down for a 43 yard gain.

Boykin to Cam White Touchdown Pass @ Baylor: The Frogs were down 7-0 early to the Bears before striking right back with a touchdown of their own. Trevone Boykin hit Cam White with a perfectly placed pass for the touchdown.

LaDarius Brown 60 yard Touchdown Catch vs. Texas Tech: The Frogs were down ten points and if you were like me, you had basically given up on this game. It wasn't over though as Boykin connected with LaDarius Brown down the sideline for a 60 yard touchdown down reception. It might be the best deep ball Boykin threw all season long. The Frogs managed to tie the game up before losing in triple overtime.
