It's hard to consider any team that has Austin Lake Travis on its schedule lucky, but that's been the case the last two weeks for Del Valle and Austin Anderson.

Sure the five-time defending state champions still got wins in those two games, but those teams didn't have to worry about star running back Varshaun Nixon.
