Sure, the Horned Frogs lost Saturday in triple overtime to Texas Tech. And you better believe TCU head football coach Gary Patterson wasn't happy about it.

But even with that disappointment, the coach has been saying all year that the move to the Big 12 is not a sprint. And that sentiment was reiterated Tuesday afternoon at his weekly press luncheon.

"As we talked about at the beginning of the season, it's a long road and Oklahoma State is next. It was a hard loss last week, and we had a chance to win," Patterson said. "If you told me before the season that we would hold somebody who throws the ball like Texas Tech to under 200 yards through three quarters and four minutes and that we'd lose 56-53, I would have said, `you're crazy.'"
