Linebacker Freddie Stevenson from Bartow (Fla.) High and NC State offensive line coach Jim Bridge have gotten to know each other fairly well.

"I talk to Coach Bridge every week through email," Stevenson noted. "We keep up through that."

The relationship began about a month ago, Stevenson estimated, when he received an offer from the Pack.
