Decision looming for Henderson?
EA Sports' NCAA '12 has a feature called "Road to Glory" where you can create a player, take him though the state high school playoffs and then play for your favorite college.
Wednesday night, Mansfield Summit junior defensive end Bryson Henderson was playing that feature at his favorite college - TCU.
Henderson likes the school so much, he might be making his college decision very soon.
"I visited about a month ago and they've been recruiting me real hard lately," Henderson said. I've been talking to them a lot and I appreciate being wanted by them because that's where I really want to go."
Thursday may be the day he makes it official. He is planning a long talk with his father about it and then go from there.
"He really wants me to go there, but he wants me to know that it's my choice," Henderson said. "I understand that it is my choice and TCU is at the top of my list right now."
Henderson said his dad didn't always feel this way.
"At first he didn't want me to go there, but now he's visited it with me and likes it so much," Henderson said. "Plus, it's really close to home so if he needs me, he can get me."
He currently doesn't have any other offers and hasn't talked to any other schools in the last week.
The defensive front man is listed as 6-foot-4, 245, but has shot up two inches in the last year and is now 6-6, 250 pounds. He finished the season with 75 tackles, 10 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery in helping lead Summit to an 11-1 mark.
