Illinois picked up their seventh verbal commitment in the 2012 class on Friday, when Snellville (Ga.) safety Zach Jackson pledged to the Fighting Illini. Jackson (6-foot, 180 pounds) hails from defending state champion Brookwood High School. He talked about why he chose the Illinois.
