How will UF handle short-yardage plays?
In 2007, '08 and '09, if the Florida offense had one given it was this:
In key short-yardage situations, the ball would stay in the hands of quarterback Tim Tebow.
"Those were flat-Tebow run scenarios," Gators offensive coordinator Steve Addazio said.
With Tebow's departure, those carries will now go to someone else.
But the question is, who?
Might its be starting tailback Jeff Demps, a junior who is only 5-foot-8, but weighs 190 pounds and is college football's fastest player? What about senior Emmanuel Moody, who when healthy has both speed and power? Sophomore Mike Gillislee, a physical and hard-nosed player, is another candidate. So might be talented true freshman Mack Brown.
