Naff Willing to Work for Sooner Offer
It might have taken a little longer than he had hoped, but Jamelle Naff's recruiting process has been steadily picking up steam. After receiving his first offer in mid-May from Missouri, Naff has picked up eight more offers including TCU, among others.
Despite the nine offers, Tulsa remains the lone Sooner State offer for the 6-foot-4, 311-pounder. While both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have voiced interest, neither, to date, have come through with an offer to the rising prospect.
Naff was able to come to Norman for a one-day camp that took place last weekend. While there, the talented guard made a good impression but was not able to land that Sooner offer that he has sought after for so long.
"I've been a fan ever since I started playing football in like fifth or sixth grade," Naff said. "Camp was good. It was really good and physical and, I mean, I think I did good. The coaches said I had a good workout and they said they liked me, so I think I did a good job up there."
