While much of the PAC-10 was home asleep in their beds, USC's coaching staff began the May Evaluation Contact Period in earnest.

The Trojans blitzed the East Coast with phone calls and greetings from Los Angeles as early as 3:00 a.m. PST.

Despite being three time zones behind states like Michigan, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, USC was often the first school to contact recruits Thursday morning.
