Perhaps more than in any other game this season, Northwestern proved on Saturday that it may have what it takes to make the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats were not at their best, yet they found a way to grind out a 70-62 win over a tough Stanford team to push their winning streak to eight games and their record to 9-1.
